Embark on a six-day, five-night cycling adventure along the stunning Florida Coast-to-Coast Trail, covering 235 miles from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico. You will travel along nine different trails with some quiet road riding to connect two of the gaps in this trail. You will ride 85% on paved trails and 15% on roads.
Your journey begins in Clearwater, where you’ll settle in and prepare for the adventure ahead. On day two, you’ll be shuttled to New Smyrna Beach, where the real ride begins. Over the next five days, you’ll cycle westward, passing through Florida’s diverse landscapes, quiet lush forests, vibrant small towns, and scenic waterfronts.
Pedal past the shimmering waters of Lake Monroe, a serene spot offering picturesque views before you enjoy a well-earned dinner in Sanford, a charming city known for its lively downtown and riverfront atmosphere. Further along the route, you’ll traverse scenic trails, including the Withlacoochee State Trail, Suncoast trail, Good Neighbor trail before your final return to Clearwater on the Pinellas Trail. You can add another day at the end of your tour to complete the Pinellas trail to downtown St. Petersburg and walk along their pier and see the Dali Museum.

The Florida Coast to Coast trail is all paved surface. You will ride 85% of the time on dedicated trail or bike paths and 15% will be on quiet roads. Road bikes and hybrid bikes are recommended.
Our route is designed to get you through the gaps where the trails do not connect. We take you around the Rt. 50 construction and no bike path areas. Our route is designed to keep you on bike trails, side streets or quiet roads to avoid any heavy traveled roads. You will ride 15% on roads during this tour. We provide electronic GPS mapping for the entire tour to help you navigate each twist and turn.
We start our tours in Clearwater, FL. Your first day on the tour will be a traveling day to Clearwater. The Clearwater beach or the Clearwater Marine Aquarium are just a short ride from the hotel. Then on day 2 you will be shuttled to New Smyrna beach where you will start your ride heading back to Clearwater.
Our Self-guided tours include your shuttle from Clearwater to New Smyrna Beach, accommodations at great providers with breakfast each morning, GPS mapping and voice directions, electronic itinerary with restaurants recommendations and e-charging locations, themed t-shirt and patch. Lunch, dinner and drink is not included in the tour.
You can also add bike rentals (hybrid and road bike) and extra hotel nights before or after your tour. Luggage shuttle is not available on this tour.
If you have a car and renting a bike, you will park at the bike shop in Dunedin for the duration of your tour at no charge. If you have a car and not renting then we will provide directions to the parking lot you can park your car for the duration of the tour - $50 total charge for parking - 5 blocks from the hotel.
You can fly into Tampa or St. Petersburg airports and then Uber/Taxi to the hotel.
The trail are open year round but the best months to ride is October to May.
Cancellation Policy (if Booking Protection isn’t utilized)
Deposits of 50% of tour and 100% of all “Extras” are due at the time of tour reservation.
Balances are due 60 days before the tour – your tour can be cancelled if balance is not paid on time
If you give notice of cancellation before the tour:
91+ days - 100% refund less $250 per person or can change date for $150
90-60 days – 50% refund or can change date for $150
59-30 days – 25% refund or can change date for $250
29-0 days – No refund or transfers

We have seen many reasons for people need to cancel due to accident, illness, family members having illness, jury or military duty, fire and pregnancy. All of these are covered with our Booking Protection, which you will have the option to purchase at checkout or you can purchase your own trip insurance or check your homeowners’ or credit card policy for coverage.
