Escape the winter chill and treat yourself to a tropical cycling adventure on the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail. Spanning over 140 miles with breathtaking ocean views, this tour offers the perfect blend of sun, sand, and serenity. We have added another day of riding in Key Largo to add to your Florida vacation. This ride has many miles of road riding as well as trail. You will cross over Highway 1 many times to get on the shoulder, bike lane, bike path or trail.
On day one, starting in Key Largo, you will ride on the 905 to the Ocean Reef Welcome Center for a 40-mile out and back. Then the following days, you'll pedal south for 100 miles through the stunning Florida Keys, where every turn brings you closer to the vibrant culture, pristine beaches, and the warm embrace of island life. Whether you choose the 3-day or 4-day tour, you'll have the chance to explore the unique charm of each Key, with stops at laid-back beaches, visit the bird sanctuary, turtle hospital and local eateries where you can enjoy the flavors of the Keys.
This tour offers the ideal balance of adventure and leisure, giving you the satisfaction of earning your rest as you unwind with your toes in the sand, watching the sun dip below the horizon in the Florida Keys. Whether you’re soaking in the sun or savoring the fresh seafood, this tour is the perfect way to wash away those winter blues and recharge your spirit in paradise.
Your self-guided tour includes Accommodations, Digital Mapping & Voice Navigation, Electronic Itinerary, Trail themed T-shirt and Patch. You can also add Shuttle Service, Luggage Shuttle, Bike Rentals and Extra Accommodations to your tour.

The Florida Keys Overseas Heritage trail is all paved surface. You will ride 70% of the time on dedicated trail or bike paths and 30% will be on road with a shoulder. Road bikes and hybrid bikes are recommended.
We start our tours in Key Largo, FL. Your first day on the tour will be riding route 905 from Key Largo to the Ocean Reef Community Welcome Center. This 40-mile out and back ride in the florida trees and fresh air allows for another day in paradise. The following days of your tour will be riding the Overseas Heritage Trail to Key West.
Our Self-guided tours include your accommodations at great providers, GPS mapping and voice directions, electronic itinerary with restaurants recommendations and e-charging locations, themed t-shirt and patch. Food and drink is not included in the tour.
You can also add shuttle back to Key Largo from Key West, luggage shuttle, bike rentals (hybrid and road bike) and extra hotel nights before or after your tour.
If you have a car, you will park at the bike shop in Key Largo for the duration of your tour.
The trail are open year round but the best months to ride is October to May.
Cancellation Policy (if Booking Protection isn’t utilized)
Deposits of 50% of tour and 100% of all “Extras” are due at the time of tour reservation.
Balances are due 60 days before the tour – your tour can be cancelled if balance is not paid on time
If you give notice of cancellation before the tour:
91+ days - 100% refund less $250 per person or can change date for $150
90-60 days – 50% refund or can change date for $150
59-30 days – 25% refund or can change date for $250
29-0 days – No refund or transfers

We have seen many reasons for people need to cancel due to accident, illness, family members having illness, jury or military duty, fire and pregnancy. All of these are covered with our Booking Protection, which you will have the option to purchase at checkout or you can purchase your own trip insurance or check your homeowners’ or credit card policy for coverage.
