Day Five

Cycling Day: 39 miles- Hermann to Augusta

Today’s destination is Augusta, another small winery town with 257 population. But don’t let the small town fool you, it has 5 wineries, antique shops, glass studio and a wood shop awaiting you in this scenic town.

Wednesday night food options are limited in Augusta - Winery has a cafe, Convenience store has sandwiches and frozen pizza in town.  Some restaurants nearby do deliver (however that has been spotty).

Day Six

Cycling Day: 27 miles-Augusta to St. Charles

This is your final day of cycling. Leave the B&B in Augusta and ride east on the trail to St. Charles where you have left your car at the trailhead in St. Charles. You should arrive back to St. Charles by 1:00pm.   When you arrive in St. Charles you are steps away from the old St. Charles with 1800’s homes and shops on Main Street and you can visit Missouri’s first capitol, KATY Depot and the KATY Trail Museum.
