Overview
Ride America’s longest continuous rail to trail bike path covering 235 miles on this crushed limestone trail. You begin your 5 day 4 night tour in St. Charles where you are picked up and driven to Clinton, MO to start your ride. Then spend the next days riding back to St. Charles enjoying rural Missouri, wildlife, winery towns and riding along the Missouri River. This ride is for long distance riders who want to ride the trail end-to-end in 5 days with 2 days having 51 and 63 miles. Schedule
Ride the full length of the Katy Trail (Machens to St. Charles) in 5 days. This ride is for experienced riders as the mileage is extended. If you want even longer days, we can provide this tour in 4 days as well. You would ride day 1 from Clinton to Boonville -75 miles

Day One
Meet Shuttle in St. Charles at 8:00am then get shuttled to Clinton then ride your bike to Sedalia - 38 Miles.
Option for 4 day ride - combine Day 1 and Day 2 together and ride from Clinton to Boonville - 75 miles on Day 1
Day Two
Cycling Day: 50 miles-Sedalia to Rocheport
This is your longest day on the trail riding 50 miles to Rocheport. Begin your day at the KATY Trail Depot Museum in Sedalia or the Scott Joplin Museum before departing Sedalia. In 38 miles you will be in Booneville where you will pass a casino before crossing the MO River. Your destination on the trail is Rocheport where you will see the only true tunnel on the Katy trail in the quant town of 201 residents.
Day Three
Cycling Day: 37 miles-Rocheport to Jefferson City – In the morning you will cycle beneath towering limestone bluffs some of the highest on the trail. The Missouri River can be seen frequently during the day as well as many small bridges. Your destination is N. Jefferson trailhead across the river from Jefferson City. Follow the path across the Missouri on the safe bike bridge with awesome views of the river and capital building.
Day Four
Cycling Day: 46 miles- Jefferson City to Hermann
Start your day with a return across the bike bridge to the N. Jefferson trailhead. Ride east to just before McKittrick where you can pick up a bike path into Hermann that crosses the Missouri River on another safe bike bridge. The winery town of Hermann has much to offer including Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries, restaurants and antique shops.
Day Five
Cycling Day: 66 miles- Hermann to St. Charles. This is your final day of cycling. You will pass Marthasville which has great places to eat, Augusta which has 2 wineries in town and Defiance which has a brewery and 2 local bars. You will move from the rural trail to urban in these 63 miles and still have some views of river. You will end your tour at your car where you started the tour.
