Ride 3-days and 2-nights on this beautiful rail-to-trail in the Black Hills of South Dakota starting in Deadwood. This 109-mile trail is one of the nation’s most scenic, historic and memorable cycling adventures. As you cycle this well-maintained, but challenging trail, you will discover unrivaled natural beauty, geologic wonders and an abundance of wildlife in combination with historic ghost towns, train trestles, bridges and tunnels, reminders of a bygone era. You can add a Black Hills Site Seeing learning about Black Hills history, legends and stories plus be taken to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monuments, Needles Highway, Sylvan Lake and Custer State Park. Monument day - Ride 18 miles to see Crazy Horse Monument and end in Custer
Day 3
Custer to Edgemont - 44 miles then shuttle back to Deadwood - today’s route through descends peacefully through the forests and meadows. You will be picked up at 3pm in Edgemont to shuttle back to your car in Deadwood. If you want a hotel this night you will need to purchase this extra Hotel Night after your tour.

7-hour Black Hills Bus Tour
You have the option to purchase a 7-hour Black Hills Bus Tour covering all the sites - Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Needles Highway, Sylvan Lake and Custer State Park. This air-conditioned tour is led by local guide who will fill you with history, legends and stories of how the Black Hills became famous. We will pick you up from hotel in Deadwood to start your tour. Includes entrance fees into Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monuments. Stop for Lunch (guest pays) and other stops for photos and views and by back before 5:00pm.
