Big BAM Hotel Option is a guided tour covering the Katy Trail from end to end and includes shuttle from St. Charles to Clinton, breakfast each day, luggage shuttle for 1 bag per person, luggage tag, Big BAM T-shirt, a winery tour, a guide book, a tailored Ride with GPS directions for the entire ride and your Big BAM Bracelet.
The Big BAM Bracelet provides a tour guide each morning highlighting the day on the trail, one SAG stop during the day with refreshments and snacks and a sweep to ensure all riders are off the trail and have arrived at the next stop as well as fix minor bike issues on the trail. This sweep can also do minor bike repair at night as well. There will also be nightly entertainment at the host city with transportation to the event if it is not at the hotel and a welcome beverage as you check into the hotel. We can also make your dinner reservations nightly.
Riders should be able to change your own flat tires.
Guests pay for their own lunches and dinners.
Big BAM Tour - 2 Hotel Options
There are 2 hotel options for the Big BAM Ride depending on the length of ride you want to experience totaling 6 or 7 days. The two options start in St. Charles, at 1:00pm to pick up the shuttle, the day before the tour and take you to your hotel for the night. You will then ride from Clinton to St. Charles for the next 5 or 6 days back to where your cars have been parked. Both options allow you to ride the entire trail to Machen if you choose.
Augusta Option is a 6-night option. On Day 6 you can ride from Augusta and conclude in St. Charles or continue to Machen and back to St. Charles where your car is parked.
St. Charles Option is a 5-night stay that concludes in St. Charles on Day 5. If you want to ride the entire length of the Katy to Machen, then you would need to purchase our hotel in St. Charles for your 6th night and then ride to Machen and back on Day 6.
