5-night, 4-day - Southern and Northern Coasts plus National Park - Road and Trail

This 5 night, 4 day ride is a loop Starting in Charlottetown and covers the southern and northern mid-country coastlines plus PEI National Park. You have overnights in Summerside (2 nights) and Cavendish before returning to Charlottetown. You will ride mostly on quiet roads with some use of the Confederation Trail. This tour brings your to all the different worlds of PEI. In the Southern coast you will have the feel of New England with their quiet coastlines and fishing vessels nestled with the New England Style homes. Then traveling to the Northern Coast rugged coastline with beautiful rock formations has the feel of the Northern Sea. You will also travel in PEI's National Park featuring their red cliffs, wind-shaped sand dunes, and the ocean meeting the horizon. This tour will keep your camera busy with all of the unique things to see in such a short amount of time. Your tour provides 5 nights along the trail, one bag per person transported to each lodging location, breakfast in most locations, luggage tag, t-shirt and maps with restaurant suggestions. DAY 1
Travel Day – Arrive in Charlottetown, PEI
This is a day to travel to PEI, flying or driving. An overnight stay in Charlottetown is included on Day 1.
DAY 2
You will take a short shuttle out of Charlottetown to Cornell and then begin your ride to Victoria by the Sea along the southern coastline 36 km (22 mi)
Start cycling today – leave luggage behind with your innkeeper and you bags will be at your hotel in Victoria by the Sea
DAY 3
Victoria to Kensington 47 km (29 mi)
Today’s route takes you on the southern coast to Borden Carleton and the Confederation Bridge then off to Kensington in the middle of the Island where you will stay for the night.
DAY 4
Kensington to Brackley Beach 48 km (30 mi) / optional)
You ride north to the shoreline and then ride the entire day along this beautiful rocky coastline to Brackley Beach which is near Rustico Bay.
DAY 5
Brackley Beach through National Park to Charlottetown 41 km (25 mi)
This is another scenic day riding in the National Park and northern coastline before heading back to the big city of Charlottetown for your last night on the tour in Prince Edward Island.
