The fun is not just on 2 wheels as you will have time to walk the beach, kayak the bay, shop famous stores and eat at great local restaurants. This Florida Suncoast beach tour is fully supported and covers everything, except dinners, for 7 days and 6 nights. Our tour price includes, breakfast, lunch, shuttle during the tour, bike jersey, luggage tag, kayak tour, beverages after the ride and special events. DAY 1
Travel day to Clearwater Beach, FL. Hotel – Residence Inn, 309 Coronado Drive, Clearwater Beach, FL 33767. Tampa Airport (TPA) is a 40 minute drive by Taxi/Uber. We will meet at 7:30pm for a group welcoming.
DAY 2
We will start at 8:30 to ride the Southern Section of Pinellas trail and then back to Clearwater Beach. This ride moves from Clearwater Beach to Largo to St. Petersburg and then back to our hotel for a 30 mile ride. Lunch on the beach, across the street by hotel taking in the great view of the surf. – Free afternoon to stay on the beach, go to Aquarium or shop. Group dinner in evening at a great restaurant near by.
DAY 3
Today we ride the northern section of Pinellas Trail traveling 38 miles. We start at our Hotel and travel north to Tarpon Springs, visit the Greek sponge community, have lunch then head back to Dunedin. While in Dunedin we will do a few beer tastings and stroll the shops. We ride our bikes back to our Hotel to enjoy a free mid-afternoon followed by a group dinner at a great Seafood restaurant
DAY 4
Time to leave Clearwater Beach, we check out and leave at 8:00an and drive to Fort Desoto where we will ride their beautiful bike trials around this old Fort that protected Tampa Bay from Pirates and other countries. We will ride around this park for 18 miles and walk the grounds of this Fort and beach before heading to lunch then off to Sarasota. Group dinner tonight at the famous St. Armand’s Circle – Shore Restaurant
DAY 5
Fun day riding the Legacy Trail from Sarasota to Venice for a 27 or 54 mile day of riding We will have a great ride over lagoons, lakes and pass Alligator crossing signs along the way. Then in Venice we will travel to the beach for Lunch at Sharky’s on the Pier. After lunch plan on walking this “Black Beach” and try your hand at finding fossilized shark teeth or fishing off the pier. Then head back by bike or van back to Sarasota. Group dinner tonight at another great restaurant at St. Armand’s Circle
DAY 6
Time to trade in your bike for a paddle as we do a Kayak Tour of the Sarasota Bay. We will be taught how to kayak and then go into the bay for a 2-hour tour. We tour through exotic Mangrove tunnels and in the bay hope for manatee and dolphin sightings as well as birds, star fish and unique aquodic animals. Then we ride our bikes to a great lunch at Old Salty Dog before having the afternoon to relax by the beach or shop at St. Armand’s Circle. Our final group dinner tonight at the St. Armand’s Circle – the famous Columbia Restaurant.
DAY 7
Our final day in Florida. We get up early to ride 22 miles along the bike path on Lido Key, crossing several bridges from island to island then head back to hotel to shower, pack, have a late breakfast and checkout by 11am. We then pack the van and head back to the Tampa Airport by 1:00pm or the Residence Inn to pick up your car.

Difficulty Level: easy to intermediate These trails are all paved trails with smooth surfaces. We will ride from 18-35 miles per day with 5 riding days on this tour. The trails are flat with some occasional bridges to crossover roads and water. Support vehicle will provide drinks and snacks on the route. This ride is very casual to enjoy the scenery as well as the warm weather. This tour is designed for all biking levels.
Any bike will work on these trails - touring bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, trikes or hybrids. do not bring a bike with skinny tires to ride this trail. You will not enjoy it as much!
If you are flying, you fly in and out of the Tampa International Airport (TPA), arrive no later than 4:00pm and plan to depart no earlier than 3:00pm the last day of the tour. If you are driving, meet us at the Residence Inn, Clearwater Beach. You can leave your car here for the entire tour.

Taxi or Uber is the best way to get to the hotel
Yes – they would pay the same price as riding guest. They could join us for lunch and ride along in the support vehicle or stay around the hotel while we are away.
It is winter but it is also Florida. Temperatures are typically in the 50—70 range. Check the forecast before leaving and pack accordingly but you can forget the snow shovel!!
We will be riding paved surfaces so bring whatever bike you like to ride. One bike minimum as space is limited.

No problem. Ship it to the hotel, they will hold your bike for you. Please notify us prior to shipping so we can ensure the hotel knows it is arriving.
We will ride 18 – 36 miles per day. Flat trails with an occasional bridge over traffic or water. We don't ride too hard, we provide time for you to enjoy these beautiful beaches, remember, you are on vacation!
Yes. You will be in walking distance to boat rides, aquariums, famous shopping areas and many beachside restaurants and bars. In addition, we have a kayak tour planned for day 6.
Your car will be parked at the Residence Inn in Clearwater for the entire seven days during the tour. This is a secured covered parking garage inside the hotel. The added cost for parking is $150 for the entire week.
We will transport you from Sarasota to the Tampa Airport with arrival around 1:00pm. Do not plan on departing Tampa before 3pm.
If you have driven your vehicle, we will drop you back at the Residence Inn in Clearwater Beach for you to pick up your car in their secured covered parking garage.
